Retina display for the ipad 3

Early this year, Steve Jobs announced that 2011 was going to be the year for iPad 2; but different tipsters of various sources claim that we might just see a newer iPad 3 later this year too, though I’m not too sure how far this claim would really hold true.

We hoped of retina display on iPad 2, which obviously didn’t happen, and it was finally released in January with the same old 1024×768 resolution screen.

Few weeks back, we had confirmed that according to recent iPad 3 rumors, it’d most certainly sport the much awaited retina display.

TechUnwrapped reported that, one of its sources have noticed images, which were double the size needed by the older iPad and iPad 2 handsets Twitter framework within iOS 5 SDK.

They’re also speculating that since these images were in Twitter framework, which was recently released in iOS 5, there is possibility of iPad 3 being released later this year, but again I’m totally against it!

But, inclusion of retina display in iPad 3 looks quite certain, though it may come out only during early days of 2012; and, well it should have that feature as it’s high time Apple looked at providing an impressive display in next gen. iPad.

However, as we’ve just heard that possibility of 8M camera on iPhone 5, which was largely speculated by everyone, has been almost ruled out with iPhone 5 approaching the final stages of testing; so, this dream isn’t too likely to turn into a reality this year… Who knows we might as well get another bad news that iPad 3 may not come with retina display either – but let’s just keep our fingers crossed until we hear back anything officially from Apple!
