Samsungs windows 7 phone to be named as GT-i8350

Speaking of 2nd generation hardware, another Samsung device running Windows Phone "Mango" seems to be in development (see earlier Galaxy SII rumor). Found via the Samsung UA profile (looking at the HTML code) we can see the device name "GT-i8350" and that it's running Internet Explorer 9.0 which of course means "Mango".

This leads many to believe this will be one of the first Windows Phone Mango handsets, with the OS likely to be called Windows Phone 7.1 or 7.5. Mentions of the device are also found on Samsung's UK support site, though the page is thus far just a marker, with no real information present.

What is known is that the device will have an 800x480-pixel display, which is the standard minimum Windows Phone resolution. The handset is also expected to replace the Omnia 7.

This also lines up with an earlier leak from the Bluetooth SIG site that was dubbed the SGH-i937, though whether they're regional variants on the same design or completely different devices isn't apparent. [via Nanapho]
